Chapter Nine
Chapter nine was Explaining why people make Documentary films and what and type of documentaries they film. Chapter nine also talks about how its hard to film a documentary film because you need people permission to film places the things and it's hard to really capture the moment. And unless you have a lot of money people give you a low budget. And if you have not planned filming before you start it bad because the filming should be planned. Over planning is also a bad idea because your mind have to re plan which end up wasting peoples time and money leaving you a bad film.

Chapter 8
Chapter 8 is about how you produce a documentary film. How you will need money to make a great film. You also need to decide weather you want a film or video. You need to make an outline that tells what the documentary is about. You need to know about the places your gonna film; if is has good light and sound levels. It says stuff about scheduling and casting which seems pointless in a documentary. But this chapter gives you all the things you need to know before you begin to film anything.

NEW film proposal
My new idea is about the LIFe of a cellphone. How it helps and how it doesn't help the average person. Is it good to talk and drive and is it good to learn and text. Why is it laws about cellphones what have they done to hurt people. I will get in cars and classrooms and film people using and not using their cells phones. The story will start with why u need a cellphone and then go into the effects of a cellphone.

Film Idea 2
MY film will be about truthful comments and it will be called the truth hurts. I will go around and ask people how they feel about people telling the truth and how they take it afterwards. It will also record people saying things to their friends or other people around them that may seem rude and hurtful but true. I feel that truthful comments are sometimes very hard to take and I believe that people should accept those comments. I will show how the truth hurts and how it doesn't hurt you in the long RUN. THIS FILM WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH LYING TO PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

Chapter 5 & 6 of Making Documentary Films
chapter five was about Visual Evidence and how there is no substitute for good footage. You can have camera attached to telescopes and satellites and cameras using fiber optics and taking pictures in the dark but it doesn't matter if you have no visual evidence. Because it's not what you see happening or where the camera is aimed at but the actual scene that provides visual evidence. if a film or video has no visual evidence it is not a film. If you describe you documentary in terms of visual images you'll have a better chance at communicating through your film.Chapter six is about attention to what will be ultimately shown to the audience. The documentary should have a compelling argument and should have the appearance of truth.Verisimilitude which means "the quality of appearing to be true or real" should be useful in a fictional or re-created documentary. If you use verisimilitude in editing you can get into the heads of your audience. In the end you really need to pay a lot of attention to verisimilitude.
Chapter 4 of Making Documentary Films
Chapter 4 is about recording human behavior and what the truth is about recording human behavior. It says to record real human behavior it might require a hidden camera. It surprises me that they say good documentary images don't just happen and how you have to plan for them. I sometimes figured some things were scripted but saying that good images don't happen goes a little far to me. It says you need sufficient mastery of the recording technology. So does this mean one with little to none mastery of recording can capture a good image i really doubt this.In my opinion i believe that real human behavior come from the subject themselves. If someone shows there personality why not record it. This chapter motivated me to prove some of there facts wrong and show that someone can in fact record the best images and real human behavior.
